Dr. Rom returned to Labor Day Weekend 2014; Sunday for a Beginner's Workshop and Monday for Private Readings! Dr Dr. Rom worked as an onsite "Medium at Large" at the Fourth Annual Afterlife Awareness Conference in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Rom also returned to Lily Dale, NY, twice this summer, where she taught two classes, demonstrated gallery-style mediumship, and offered private readings. Here's her 2014 schedule below.

Just Announced: Dr. Rom in NOLA! Dr. Rom will be in New Orleans doing private readings with individuals and small groups on Sunday, May 25th; Monday, May 26th; and Tuesday, May 27th and there are still some spaces available. Then join me (albeit virtually, I’ll be flying back from Portland) on Monday, June 9th, from 7-11pm, at Animal Haven’s Fourth Annual Benefit for the Animals at Capitale on 130 Bowery in Manhattan, which will feature an evening of dinner, cocktails, and dancing, and a silent auction in which you can bid on one or two psychic readings with yours truly; you can also bid on these readings even if you don’t attend the event. Animal Haven is a wonderful shelter I’ve been volunteering with each week, and when it comes to donated readings it’s a win-win for everyone. This workshop, suitable for beginners and intermediates, provides a combination of lecture and experiential education that will help you identify, clarify, and intensify your ability to connect with your own natural “lighthouse”. No prior training or belief in spirit is required whatsoever: skeptics are warmly welcome!”m July 27th, 2014, 7pm-10pm Class Description: “It’s a widely held belief among mediums that communication between the medium and the spirit communicator is a two-way process: we receive information from the spirit world through our subconscious minds, and then go back to them as needed for clarification and details. Through this we’re able to blend with spirit deeply, and pass on accurate, evidential information to our clients. Why then, can communication become so difficult when our *client* requests us to ask the spirit communicator a question on their behalf? Does the answer have to do with the subconscious mind? The law of energy conservation? The switch between passive and active states of mind? Or might it have to do with one’s beliefs about what is and is not possible, in communication with the spirit world? In this workshop, we’ll engage in a series of mediumistic experiments designed to elicit answers to these questions, and further our understanding of spirit communication. How does this work? It’s simple. You organize your group together, perhaps in your living room or a conference room, on the specified day and time prearranged with me. Then I call in or Skype, and for the next two hours we have an audio event that all your guests can participate in, quite similar to live radio, wherein I bring through your loved ones in spirit to you. Just turn up the volume on a laptop or put me on speakerphone, and we’re good to go. Rates and policies for this service are the same as for a regular group demonstration.
